Hasanat was officially established in March 2024, with cash assistance initiatives already in place since November 2023.
As a grassroots organisation, Hasanat operates through a dedicated team of volunteers in Gaza, working tirelessly to provide essential humanitarian relief to the local community. Our mission is to empower families in fostering a sense of self-reliance and resilience through humanitarian relief efforts.
Founded by seasoned humanitarian professionals, Hasanat leverages their extensive network, connections, and deep understanding of the humanitarian landscape in Gaza. Setting us apart from other grassroots organisations, our team possesses the knowledge and expertise necessary to effectively support the people of Gaza.
Composed of humanitarian aid workers with experience in both local and international non-governmental organisations (NGOs), the founding members of Hasanat have personal ties to Gaza, whether through family, friends, or former colleagues. This personal connection drives our commitment to making a meaningful impact in the region.
At present, Hasanat is focused on implementing sustainable and immediate humanitarian relief projects, made possible through the generous contributions of individual donors within our network which are fully managed by volunteers both within and outside of Gaza.
